Çengelköy is one of the most well-known villages along the Bosphorus Straight. It contains exquisite examples of traditional maritime Byzantine architecture. We used a balanced color scheme to enrich the silhouette of the traditional grey toned cityscape, adding just the right amount of spice to demand attention without being overbearing. The geometry of the sculptural facade is a deliberate contrast to the clean grey finish of the concrete structure. The office building contains timeless contemporary architectural lines, while on the modern fringe of a centuries old landscape.
